TEXT: February 2025 EMD Newsletter / Issue 32 / As LA City recovers from January Wildfires, Emergency Management reminds us there are resources available to you, such as FEMA assistance, Missing pets, and more. This is National Canned Food Month. They are great items to have in your emergency kit. You may lose power and need non-perishable foods. Put a can opener in your emergency kit! As LA City works to recover from the January 2025 Wildfires, the Emergency Management Department (EMD) would like to remind everyone there are resources available, such as FEMA individual assistance, LA Disaster Relief Navigator, missing/found pets, reporting price-gouging and many more, listed in the February EMD newsletter. EMD hopes everyone is weathering these difficult times as well as possible.
