L.A. Tsunami Advisory Canceled

UPDATE on July 30 at ~5:20 AM: The National Weather Service reported that a Tsunami Advisory is NO LONGER IN EFFECT Ventura and LA counties. 

Please visit Tsunami.gov for the latest updates on Tsunami warnings and advisories across the Pacific and western United States.

NOTE: Though potential tsunami effects from a massive ~8.8 magnitude earthquake off the Russian coast on the evening of July 29 were expected to be nominal for LA City coastal areas, residents were warned to remain alert and avoid beaches, harbors, marinas, through Wednesday AM hours.
