Camp ReadyLA is a FREE week-long program that provides a look into the life of an emergency manager for young program participants. Camp participants will gain disaster preparedness, team building, and leadership skills to pave the way for their professional development.

Our camp coordinators are working hard to ensure Camp ReadyLA 2025 is full of fun and exciting activities that will provide program participants with hands-on experience in the field and career building activities.

Q: When and where will Camp ReadyLA take place?

Camp ReadyLA 2025 will take place from mid to late July. Interested applicants should fill out an interest form to be notified when applications will open. 

Q: Who is the program intended for?

Camp ReadyLA 2025 is intended for late-high school, early-college students who are interested in City service, first response, and or disaster response. 

Q: Is there a cost to attend Camp ReadyLA?

No, this program is FREE to all. There is no cost to attend.
